Georgia Tech Young Alumni Council
Justin served on the Council from 2017 to 2022, culminating with his role as President.
The Council is a diverse group of alumni that have graduated within the past ten years and is tasked with providing opportunities to engage and connect other young alumni throughout the nation with each other, the Institute, and the GT Alumni Association.
Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities
Just served on the Future Leaders Board (FLB) from 2017 to 2019 as a Co-Chair of the Logistics committee for the annual 5k race providing fundraising, outreach, and community for the Charity.
The ARMHC serves families with ill and injured children receiving medical care nearby, built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child. The Atlanta chapter has two houses in the region, and has served more than 48,000 families since 1979.
The First Tee of Charlotte and Atlanta
Justin has been a Volunteer Coach for kids ages 7-18 since 2014 first with the Charlotte chapter and most recently in the Atlanta area.
The First Tee is a national organization that was established to teach children life skills through the game of golf. There are 196 chapters of The National First Tee organization, and Justin has helped out at the Charlotte and Atlanta chapters. The First Tee program is based on nine core values that are taught through the character education program: responsibility, respect, honesty, judgment, courtesy, integrity, confidence, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
Georgia Tech Health Professionals Affinity Group
Justin led the leadership team from 2015 to 2020.
The Georgia Tech HPAG is an affinity group through the GT Alumni Association that promotes and facilitates the engagement of all alumni and friends of Georgia Tech involved in healthcare, along with faculty, staff, and students. HPAG engages alumni involved in the health care industry through social and professional networking, educational programs, student relations, and mentoring.
